To help students and parents deal with the work-from-home and homeschooling environment as a result of COVID-19, Aerospace launched a new weekly STEM educational program to teach current and future engineers and scientists about the possibilities of space.
The new virtual series, called the Aerospace STEM Hour, was been developed in partnership with iLab, Aerospace University, and Corporate Social Responsibility. This innovative program was created to continue Aerospace’s STEM outreach efforts by leveraging technology to offer an engaging experience that will be hosted via Skype.
“Through these uncertain times, Aerospace remains committed to inspiring the next generation to work in our space industry,” said Dr. Lael Woods, iLab.
Each episode focused primarily on introductory-level topics led by Aerospace’s world-class engineers and discussed subjects such as CubeSats, complex numbers and near-Earth space objects. You can watch all the episodes on Aerospace STEM Hour.
