What are you working on at Aerospace?
The majority of my time is spent working on my doctorate research, which is focused on replicated composite optics. There is a push for the fabrication of larger, faster, and cheaper satellite mirrors. Though replicated composite mirrors are a promising technology, there are many unique processing challenges that I am focusing on.

What is a typical day like for you at Aerospace?
Every day is different, which is the best part of my job.

What’s the most exciting part of your job?
I’m constantly learning from my colleagues and my own work.

Tell us one thing nobody would guess about you?
I like to design and build my own furniture.

What excites you about the aerospace industry and space today?
With the revolutionary changes happening in the industry, there are many new and interesting challenges every day.

Would you be willing to colonize Mars if it meant never returning to Earth?
No.
