Outcomes of 2023 Adapting Mission Assurance Workshop

Aerospace and NASA co-sponsored the second annual Adapting Mission Assurance (AMA) mini-conference to bring industry and government mission assurance experts together to discuss the approach to mission assurance for a rapidly changing space domain. Getting It Right: Aerospace Debris Forensics Analysis Enabling a More Sustainable Space Environment

From Getting It Right: For nearly 40 years, The Aerospace Corporation has been developing modeling tools to assess energetic on-orbit events, which can threaten the existing satellite population and the long-term usability of Earth's orbit. Astrodynamics forensic analyses gathers known details of such events and estimate unknown parameters to develop theories about the causes of a breakup and predict possible consequences.
