Kathleen Naeher is senior vice president and deputy chief operating officer at The Aerospace Corporation. She is responsible for providing leadership for Aerospace’s financial and business-enabling operations, including accounting, finance, human resources, facilities, safety and security, and communications, and oversees the execution of corporate priorities. In her role, Naeher draws upon more than 30 years of varied experience in senior executive roles leading global security and information technology (IT) organizations.
Previously, Naeher was vice president of Digital Enablement and Collaboration at Leidos, where she established relationships across the enterprise and led organizational improvements that enhanced business outcomes. As chief operating officer of Leidos’ Civil Group, Naeher worked closely with the Civil leadership team to drive operational performance and alignment with the annual operating plan and market strategies across a diverse portfolio, including NASA, the Department of Justice, and the FAA.
Prior to that, Naeher worked at the Central Intelligence Agency where she headed the transformation of one of the most sophisticated and secure IT infrastructures in the world, and drove advancements in cloud adoption, data science, and artificial intelligence. She also led critical initiatives to integrate cybersecurity and data management into streamlined C-suite structures, improving efficiency and collaboration across the organization.
Education
Naeher earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Scranton. She has a master’s degree in computer systems management from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in business administration from George Mason University. She is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at the University of Maryland, School of Public Policy, and is an Amazon Web Services-certified cloud practitioner.
