Method for Spectrum Sharing Based on Signal-Based Shared Access

Spectrum sharing based on SSA may include measuring by a primary wireless system, the quality of a signal of interest (SOI) over a shared spectrum band. A quality indicator related to an associated action message may be transmitted from the primary wireless system to a second wireless system. Spectrum usage information may be received by the primary wireless system from the second wireless system. The primary wireless system may determine whether the second wireless system complies with spectrum sharing band conditions between the primary wireless system and the second wireless system.
