The Mission Payloads Division (MPD) drives innovation in space electronics and payloads, delivering integrated solutions that enhance mission resilience and performance. Communication and network architectures perform networking testbeds, protocols and modeling, signal processing design and analysis, communication analysis and simulation, waveform design, spectrum management, and wireless communications.

Communication systems and agile processing manage digital communication prototypes, PNT/EW/SIGINT/Cislunar testbed and labs, RF and microwave subsystems, machine learning for digital communications, and software defined radios.
