CSPS year in review
December 23, 2025
It's been a big year for the Center for Space Policy and Strategy, and the space industry itself. Here are some of the highlights from 2025, from CSPS policy papers to events and podcasts.
Among the hits in the CSPS year in review:
- Space Agenda 2025: The flagship annual paper on space policy and strategy taking on issues at the forefront of the enterprise.
- Budget briefs on both the civil and defense space budget: CSPS experts go line by line on everything from space exploration to the then-newly-announced Golden Dome project.
- So you want to build a spaceport? Don't succumb to "spaceportopia," study the economic, social, and environmental issues that underpin this new infrastructure.
- Artificial intelligence and the space industry: AI is becoming indispensable in countless other industries — where does it fit into space and defense?
- The Space Policy Show has put out a dozen new episodes (in two six-episode series) this year; check them out here or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
- CSPS hosted events on the state of GPS, on whether the Wolf Amendment should be repealed, and the ways commercial operators are taking on orbital congestion. You can watch them right now!
That's just a sample of the highlights — there's plenty more where those came from. Keep your eye on the CSPS website (and here on Kickstage) to catch the latest.
