General Questions

  1. What should I do if I can’t find an opportunity that matches my skills?

    If there isn’t a job posting that meets your skill set or preferences, we hope you’ll still join our talent community. In so doing, your information will be available to our people acquisition team for consideration for future opportunities. In addition, you can create a job agent that will send you automatic emails if a position becomes available that meets your job interests.
  2. What qualifications do you require?

    The Required Qualifications statement describes the type of credentials and experience a candidate is required to have to be considered for a specific opportunity at a point in time. When a requisition lists a required set of qualifications, make sure your resume accurately reflects the skills listed.
  3. What security clearances do you require?

    All technical positions at Aerospace require that the employee have access to sensitive or classified information. Security clearance requirements are usually stated in the Required Qualifications section of the position description.
  4. What happens after I apply for a job?

    Once you’ve completed the online process, your information will be made available to our People Acquisition team. They will compare your skills and experience with the requirements of the position for which you have applied. You will be contacted if you are selected for consideration. Your information will also be maintained in our applicant tracking system for future consideration.
  5. What is the status of my application?

    Once you have applied for a job at Aerospace, you will be able to track the status of your application by clicking the Job Management tab and selecting Jobs Applied.
  6. Can I complete the application process on my phone or tablet?

    While parts of our system are mobile compatible, we are not fully mobile optimized yet. The application process can be completed on tablets, but not on phones. We plan to have a fully mobile application process in the future.
  7. What if I’m told a record already exists under the email address I’m trying to register?

    If the email address you’re using already exists in our system, it is likely you have already created an account. If so, please use the Forgot Password link to reset your password.
  8. What should I do if I forgot my password?

    To reset your password, enter your email address and click Forgot Password. If an account matches the email address you entered, you will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Each time you reset your password, all previous password reset links in emails will be disabled.


Students and Recent Graduate Questions

  1. What degree programs do you hire college students from?

    Preferred backgrounds for technical roles include, but are not limited to: Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cyber, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Software Engineering, and Robotics.

    Preferred backgrounds for our non-technical roles include, but are not limited to: Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Communication, Economics, and Procurement.
  2. What are the basic eligibility requirements to apply for an internship/co-op?

    You must be a current full-time student in good academic standing, enrolled in a relevant program and actively working toward your undergraduate or advanced degree.
  3. Do you pay your interns?

    All internship positions are paid.
  4. Do interns/co-ops get hired back full time?

    Yes. Based on Aerospace’s current hiring needs and the student’s proven performance, we have many interns and co-ops who return full time.
  5. Does Aerospace participate in career events?

    Yes. You can learn about upcoming career events by selecting the Events link on our website. If you are a student or recent graduate, you may also check with your school’s career guidance office to see if an Aerospace recruiting professional has scheduled an upcoming visit.
  6. Does Aerospace provide employment sponsorship for F-1 Visa students?

    Aerospace is unable to provide employment sponsorship to students on F-1 visa status.
