Aerospace employees around the country found ways big and small to show their support and appreciation for our nation’s military veterans and active-duty members throughout the year. In fact, about 15 percent of Aerospace’s workforce is comprised of military veterans, which includes those still serving in the Reserve and National Guard.
Continuing its partnership with Operations Gratitude, Aerospace and the Aerospace Military Veterans group were able to send letters, care packages and more to military members and their families around the world.
In November for Veterans Day, employees volunteered their time to help assemble 200 toiletry care packages to send to our troops. Aerospace also collected personalized notes from employees offering thanks and encouragement to military members around the world.
Aerospace’s Corporate Social Responsibility team also made donations to the Bob Hope USO campaign for Military Appreciation Month, and sent care packages to Aerospace employees activated by the National Guard to help during COVID-19.
