Geekwire reports on Aerospace’s proposed size and weight standard for medium-class (25-200 kilogram) smallsats called the “Launch Unit” which would fill a volume of 45 x 45 x 60 centimeters (1.5 x 1.5 x 2 feet). This is approximately the size of an end table, two carry-on pieces of luggage strapped together or according to Geekwire, also the same size of a pirate chest.
