UK Space Economy

Because UK public services rely on satellite data and signals, space has been designated a part of the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure. The sector contributes £5.7 billion in value (GVA) to the UK economy per year and underpins £5.5bn in exports. Satellite services also underpin more than £300 billion of UK GDP, supporting sectors ranging from agriculture to finance. Aerospace UK brings specialist skills spanning the entire space enterprise, enabling the UK to develop in areas of high value.
