AI systems are already changing how countless software tools and datasets operate, and space is no exception. But it also brings unique challenges in terms of security, logistics, and cost. How is AI being applied to this complex, high-consequence domain?
Aerospace's Startup Showcase at TechCrunch Disrupt is all about matching technological innovation around AI and machine learning with real, urgent problems faced by the space enterprise. There is record interest in bottom-up innovation and commercial capabilities for solving the hardest problems in space. Aerospace aims to highlight startups ready to change the game in the space domain and connect them with customers who are equally ready to embrace that change.
At the showcase, five startups will present to a panel of judges representing venture capital, commercial space, and government customers. What innovation is their company bringing? How will it succeed in the markets they're targeting? And why is their team the one best suited to build it?
The event will take place on the Space Stage at Disrupt on Monday, October 27.
